Overview

The Ottawa International Jazz Festival is the National Capital Region's premier music event. Entering its twenty-eighth year of consecutive programming and operation, the OIJF is the second longest continuous-running jazz festival in Canada, and boasts the biggest loyal audience of any event in eastern Ontario! It is known to have presented some of the most dynamic jazz artists on the scene today from the traditional to the avant-garde, such as Dave Brubeck, Roy Haynes, Toots Thielemans, Tony Bennett, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Branford Marsalis, Béla Fleck,  The Neville Brothers, Kenny Werner, Stanley Jordan, Courtney Pine, Sonny Rollins, Terence Blanchard, Diana Krall, D.D. Jackson, Maynard Ferguson, John Mayall, Salsa Celtica, David Murray & the Gwo Ka Masters, The Herbaliser, Bonobo , and Harry Connick Jr. to name only a few.

  • Corporate includes: cash and in-kind goods and services
  • Box Office includes: pre-sales and daily sales during the festival
  • Other includes: Memberships, beer and wine, concessions, and souvenir sales
