Visiting Ottawa

As the only outdoor music festival with a grand presence in the city’s downtown core, the TD Canada Trust Ottawa International Jazz Festival is a unique event. Our principal location is Confederation Park, located adjacent to City Hall, the Rideau Canal and the National Arts Centre (where we present two series).

The park is a leisurely stroll from Parliament Hill, the Market, our partner hotels and restaurants, and our other satellite locations such as the Rideau Centre, the Crowne Plaza, Library and Archives Canada and the World Exchange Plaza.

The Ottawa International Jazz Festival is the National Capital Region's premier music event. Entering its twenty-eighth year of consecutive programming and operation, the OIJF is the second longest continuous- running jazz festival in Canada, and boasts the biggest loyal audience of any event in eastern Ontario! It is known to have presented some of the most dynamic jazz artists on the scene today from the traditional to the avant-garde.
